NEW YEAR RECAP! WHO ARE SOMERSET TIMBER? Somerset Timber are a family run sawmill based in Taunton, Somerset ran by John and Mary with Big Boss Paddy (aged 7) over seeing with his bossy assistant Daisy (aged 3).
WHAT SERVICES DO WE PROVIDE? We supply rough sawn hard and softwood timber, our on site sawmill allows us to cut the specification you require to order. We predominantly cut western red cedar, green oak and douglas fir.
We also have a fantastic display area stocking a great selection of air dried timbers from oak, ash, elm and spalted beech.
Our onsite plane also allows us to finish timber to a high standard.
We also offer seasoned hardwood logs via Taunton Firewood – Part of Somerset Timber Services LTD .
